STAGGERED INTAKE
To assist your child with the transition into the Kindergarten program, the centre begins the year with a staggered intake. This allows more time with each child, thus enabling the children to more quickly develop trust and relationships with the staff and feel secure within the environment.
The director will inform you at your interview which day your child will commence.
FEES
Fee schedules are handed to families at the time of enrolment. Payments are paid via centre's Blue fee box and payment register and via electronic direct credit bank payment system. Our centre aims to reduce the use of cash for payments of all fees, services, products because our parent body (You) will have a much easier and more streamlined process to manage.
Please think DIRECT BANK PAYMENTS as a priority. Thank you.
Unpaid fees will be followed up strictly according the centre's FEES POLICY (available on the noticeboard or from the Management Committee or Director).
Exceptions cannot be made if a child is on extended holiday.
Non payment equates to no kindergarten position held.
PAYING BY DIRECT CREDIT
BANK DETAILS
• Payment is due on the date above. Therefore if you pay direct credit you will need to schedule the payment for the day prior to this date (the Thursday)
• Please reference all direct credits with the child’s surname, initial and date of birth so that we can make sure that your child is up to date (For example SmithK 19012006)
• If paying fortnightly, schedule 19 fortnight payments beginning 14/01/2010 to ensure that payments are not late
• Please bring a copy of your transaction advice for the payment on your child’s first day (single payment for yearly or scheduled payments for all others)
• If you are paying by half year or term and have not scheduled the payment you will need to put the copies of your transaction advice into an envelope in the Kindergarten blue fees box taking care to write your child’s name and date of birth on the envelope as well as the payment due date
• Your child will not be able to attend without proof of payment
PAYING BY CHECK/CHEQUE
• Payment is due on the date above. Therefore if you pay cash you will need to deposit your fees into the Kindergarten account by the Friday
• If you are paying by cheque please deposit this at least 5 business days prior to the due date
• You will be provided with deposit slips for the Kindergarten account. Please make sure that you complete two copies of the deposit slip and get the bank to stamp one so that you can bring this on your child’s first day
• If you are paying by term or fortnight you will need to put the copies of your deposit slips into an envelope in the Kindergarten blue fees box taking care to write your child’s name and date of birth on the envelope as well as the payment due date
• Your child will not be able to attend the Kindergarten without proof of payment
CHILD CARE BENEFIT
The Kindergarten is registered care for CCB claims. Therefore at the end of the year you can claim the following CCB (using the most current information that we have):
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If you chose to pay either half yearly or by term and later in the year you change to fortnightly then the discount no longer applies. You will have to pay the full year fee as a new payment schedule will have to be worked out for you.
Also note that it is the Kindergarten’s fee policy that your child may not be able to attend if your child’s fees have not been paid in full by the due date. If you are unable to pay your fees please contact the Fees Treasurer at the earliest possible time to see if the Kindergarten is able to help you make other arrangements. If you simply do not pay your child’s fees and do not inform the Fees Treasurer your child’s place at the kindergarten may be terminated.
